A Home for the Holidays
The holidays are about coming home to the people we love. This winter, many families in Nepal have no home to return to after the floods.
Home is more than four walls and a roof.
It's where we feel safe. Where we gather, rest and look after one another. For families in Nepal, that's what the floods took, and what we're helping them find again.
Safety. A place where children sleep soundly.
Warmth. Shelter from the winter, and someone to share it with.
Togetherness. A table to gather around at the end of the day.
Belonging. A community that rebuilds side by side.
Roots. A hillside that holds, so home is here to stay.
What you'll hear from us
Each week, a short, honest update from Nepal: the families, the people standing beside them, and what home means to them.
We were there when the waters rose. We're still here.
Live to Love has stood with these mountain communities through earthquakes, hard winters and now the floods. Alongside the Kung Fu Nuns and the families themselves, we rebuild with care, and we stay for as long as it takes.
2 million people served across the Himalayas since inception. We're not stopping now.
